Hi everyone. Thanks for volunteering to help finish off my deck. You guys are the best, Jenn and I really appreciate all of the support. I got a good start on it but ran out of juice and then there was like 12 days of rain. Ugh.
Today I got the new helper joists installed and taped the tops with flashing tape. Lowe’s is fresh out of 2 x 6 x 8’s for the record.

The demo has been the most tedius part. Screw heads are hard to get to so I had to do a lot of cutting. I think there should be 3 teams.
Team 1 – Finsh the demo of the old decking
Team 2 – Install new Trex Decking
Team 3 – The Stairs
Runner – Get tools, supplies and run scrap wood up to fire.
Bills Game at 4pm
We will have the game on under the camper awning and there will be pop-ups, incase it rains. Bring a chair. We’ll fire up the umbrella heater for anyone who’s chilly.
For your dining pleasure, Larry is donating a sheet pizza and even for one for our favorite tomato hater.
There will be cold cheap beer in the garage fridge.
Every helper will get there choice of Buffalo League hats as a thank you for your support. I don’t know how we would have made it this far without all of you.
